A passionate entrepreneur with a host of Project and Property Management experience, Lina loves living in the tropics and showcasing the experiences and opportunities that Darwin can offer.

Lina is Hometime’s trusted local Hosting Partner for Darwin properties. Hometime is Australia’s largest Airbnb Property Management company, and Lina boasts the services largest property portfolio in Australia and New Zealand!

Lina began her journey in Darwin with Logos, an Italian Translation company. She then extended her Managerial experience into other areas with the Council on the Ageing N.T and worked with ‘Off the Leash’ - Darwin’s leading ‘What’s on’ publication. As her passion for the Territory, clean living and all things tropical grew, Lina went on to Co-found the award winning ‘Malak Marketplace’ and to take on Ambassador roles with ‘The Territory - Boundless Possible’ NTG campaign and ‘Clean Living in the Tropics’.

After travelling the world using Airbnb, Lina could quickly tell which properties were professionally hosted and which were not. The hosted properties were warm and inviting, clean and well stocked without being cluttered or cramped. They left a happy feeling which Lina always awarded with positive reviews. With these happy hosting experiences in hand coupled with Lina's extensive experience in Management, it felt right to start offering hosting services in her hometown of Darwin.

Her experience, drive, and dreams of both showcasing the tropical north and delivering excellence to guests led to Lina hosting her first property on Airbnb in 2018. Fast forward to today, LPK Luxury Home Hosting is now a thriving business with over 150 properties in its portfolio and a team of over 50 staff. And Lina still gets to highlight Darwin’s tropical treasures to the world!

INTERNAL INTERIOR STYLIST & PORTFOLIO ASSISTANT

Jacinta took the leap to relocate to Darwin in 2021, after regularly visiting family here over the past 10 years. With a background in Fashion Retail Management and a degree in Professional Writing and Editing, Jacinta has enjoyed a change in career; allowing her to utilise her customer service management, styling and staging skills with LPK. 

Jacinta appreciates the professional development opportunities afforded through her work with LPK, including the opportunity for in-depth learning about the short-term accommodation management industry. 

Jacinta’s role is varied and has developed over time, a typical day could include anything from property styling and staging for professional photoshoots through to proofreading, editing, and writing. Jacinta is LPK’s In-house Stylist Superstar and will manage the upgrading and redecorating of some clients’ properties. She also assists Lina with general client, staff, office, and warehouse management tasks. Jacinta says that the variety of tasks and the wonderful team make LPK a pleasure to be a part of. 

Her favourite thing about living in Darwin?

‘’Darwin is a unique place with a charm all of it's own and it offers so many delights. Foreshore walking & cycling paths, rugged coastline, beaches and palm trees. Markets of tropical produce and artisan handicrafts. People from all over the world, of different backgrounds, customs and cuisines. Opportunities to explore the outback and live in a tropical climate with amazing dry season winters and wet season lightning storms.’’

PHOTOGRAPHER

Kirstin is Darwin born and bred, mother to two teenage boys our beautiful, tropical Darwin is the only place she has ever called home. Kirstin gravitates towards all things property and real estate.

She is actually a full-time conveyancer, with real estate photography being her freelance passion project on the side of this for the last 9 years!

Kirstin is self-taught in real estate photography – she received a nudge from a previous employer who knew she was an avid photographer, invested in a wide-angle lens to accompany her existing DSLR, and off she went on her real estate photography journey!

Kirstin is LPK’s pro-photographer who has been shooting with us for around 3 years. Working closely with Lina, Kirstin makes sure amazing results are achieved for all new properties joining the LPK portfolio.

Kirstin enjoys working closely with Lina and our Interior Stylist Jacinta, now considering them friends as well as colleagues. She describes them both as wonderful, warm, and charismatic women who bring an admirable amount of maturity and experience to their profession.

Kirstin’s favourite thing about living in Darwin?

“I love the multicultural vibe and energy of Darwin. The ease of living and laid-back tropical lifestyle. I love the rolling thunder storms and the smoky smell at dusk in the dry season.”

HEAD HOUSEKEEPER

Originating from Brazil, Suellem has been working in the Tourism and Hospitality industry in Australia for the past 9 years, and she loves it! She has a wealth of experience in cleaning and Housekeeping, starting from a young age when Suellem and her sister used to accompany her Mum to her work as a cleaner in Sao Paulo.

Suellem’s enthusiasm for quality cleaning hasn’t faltered, her role is to make sure that LPK’s luxury properties receive the level of care that they deserve, ensuring that our high standards for cleanliness and presentation are maintained. Thanks to the systems in place, she finds that her working days run smoothly.

Receiving positive feedback from Lina and LPK’s owners and guests gives Suellem great job satisfaction. Suellem finds that Darwin weather warms her heart and soul and being part of the genuinely caring team at LPK makes Darwin even better.

SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT GURU

Charlie has lived in Darwin since 2015. After spending most of her professional life working in Community Services she changed direction at the start of 2021 to focus more on creativity, flexibility, and work/life balance.

A skilled communicator with an eye for detail and a way with words, Charlie has since put her expertise to use in writing engaging Social Media content, website copy and articles. She handles LPK’s Social Media accounts and greatly assisted with the website launch. Having previously worked with LPK as a Portfolio Assistant focussing on Onboarding, Charlie has a solid understanding of LPK which she loves to share with people through her content.

Charlie enjoys working with small local businesses and being part of the passionate and welcoming team at LPK.

Charlie’s favourite thing about living in Darwin?

“The Dry season! The accessibility of nature – the bush or the beach, and the sense of community.’’

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & GUEST RELATIONS MANAGER

Michelle is a Manila-based assistant with LPK. A proud family woman with a wealth of experience in the finance sector. Michelle was looking for a ‘remote’ job, and considers herself lucky to have scored this one with LPK!

Michelle is a trusted team leader and is often the first point of contact for our remote support team. She is a great communicator and helps to keep the remote team on track.

Michelle enjoys her fast-paced and dynamic role with LPK – allowing her to expand on her multi-tasking skills whilst maintaining her attention to detail. She is a quick-thinker and an experienced problem solver, always happy to help our team troubleshoot.

There’s never an idle moment working with LPK, but for Michelle, time spent at work is always worth it.

GUEST RELATIONS

Rhone is one of LPK’s Virtual Assistants - our maintenance magician who makes sure our local tradies are across all their jobs, as well as assisting guests with any enquiries.

With a strong background in Customer Service, Rhone values being part of a hardworking and supportive team at LPK. Providing guest support means that no two days are the same, and she is constantly learning.

Rhone appreciates the opportunity to work from home, meaning she gets to watch her active young son grow up. As well as Customer Service, Rhone is passionate about coffee, and enjoys reading, movies and reality TV!

GUEST RELATIONS

Jane is a solid all-rounder. As an LPK Virtual Assistant, Jane is an admin whizz who helps keep our Housekeepers schedules on track and supports guest liaison.

With over 15 years Customer Service experience, Jane is always happy to assist with your queries!

As a Mother of two daughters, Jane appreciates the work-life balance that her position brings her. She enjoys being a part of a very supportive team whilst working remotely, and the constant learning!

FINANCE OFFICER

Karla is a customer service pro! With a strong background in customer services, as an international flight attendant and in HR & recruitment.

Karla supports LPK’s finance team and appreciates working with an approachable bunch - easy & accurate communication makes her job easier!
